Haotian is an analyst on our Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) team based in Beijing. He delivers high-quality research and analytics to policymakers, project developers and investors. His primary focus is on building valuation models for CCUS projects in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, tracking and analysing project development information and interpreting market and regulatory trends with an emphasis on China. Haotian's expertise lies in his systematic understanding of the interplay between policies, economics and technology in CCUS project development.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Haotian gained valuable experience working with Capital for Climate and the World Resources Institute (WRI). In these roles, he contributed to research and advisory projects centered on nature-based solutions and emissions reduction initiatives in emerging markets.
