James is a Senior Research Analyst in the upstream team providing coverage across the North Sea.
James is part of the team providing Wood Mackenzie’s North Sea coverage, working with senior stakeholders in industry to provide insights and industry analysis. He provides regular contributions to our Europe Upstream in-brief on areas such as fiscal, new developments, decommissioning and M&A.
James also supports Wood Mackenzie’s consulting projects, providing companies with infrastructure analysis, creation of bespoke economic modelling and asset valuations.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, James spent over a decade working in the oil & gas industry in both upstream and midstream. His roles have seen him work across supply chain, late life operations, operational risk analysis, new developments, commercial and corporate development.
James graduated with a BA Honours degree in Business Management from Robert Gordon University.
