
John is a senior analyst on the CCUS team at Wood Mackenzie in Edinburgh. He works to provide expert insight and strategic analysis on developments in the sector across EMEA to enhance Wood Mackenzie’s Lens Carbon offering and support the work of clients. His particular focus includes the valuation of projects across the CCUS value chain, as well as monitoring, tracking and analysis of key policy and regulatory developments across EMEA.
John joined the Wood Mackenzie in 2024. Prior to joining the business, he spent over 2 years working in UK industrial decarbonisation policy research, leading transdisciplinary evidence collection and communication to UK policymakers. In addition, he has held research roles in the Scottish Parliament and Scottish water sector.
