John brings more than 25 years of international oil and gas industry experience to his role as a research director in our upstream Australasia oil and gas team, and provides analysis of economics, strategies and industry trends across the region.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie in 2022, John’s worked with Shell in various upstream and downstream roles. He started with Shell in the UK and later spent 21 years working in the Middle East, South America, Russia and Australia in various operating and project roles.
