Jonathan has over 20 years of experience leading analysis for global energy markets, including power, coal, gas, LNG, renewables, hydrogen and CCUS. He joined Wood Mackenzie in 2006 and is focused on building great teams to attack the critical areas of growth within the energy transition – creating and deploying expertise in emerging technologies like hydrogen, carbon, geothermal, advanced nuclear and grid-enabled solutions.

Jonathan leads the development of unique, interconnected research and analysis that drives revenue growth and enables investment decisions in the key intersections of the energy transition. Our flagship energy transition outlook, for example, draws on cross-sector and multi-commodity modelling to map out different scenarios and outcomes, including a credible pathway to net zero by 2050.
