Nayeong is a Director in the Power and Renewables consulting practice in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and based in Seoul, South Korea. She advised clients on market strategy, renewable energy development and transaction, and corporate advisory with a focus on solar, battery storage, and decarbonization initiatives.

Her career integrates commercial trading, project development, and corporate strategy. She began as a commodity trader at Samsung C&T, managing coal trading across South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Russia. She later transitioned into renewables, ultimately leading U.S. solar and storage project development and strategy in the WECC region, driving pipeline growth and market expansion across California and neighboring states.

Drawing on both APAC trading experience and US renewable development leadership, Nayeong brings a global perspective on the energy transition. She helps clients align sustainability goals with investment strategies and policy dynamics, bridging perspectives across the power and renewables value chain.

She earned her MBA in quantitative finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
