Ricardo is a core analyst for Wood Mackenzie’s Natural Gas Daily Macro S&D product, with a focus on US supply/demand fundamentals, Canadian pipeline imports, Mexican and LNG exports, and implied storage. He also heads the Mexico Natural Gas S&D integrated service, performing as the company's go-to expert on US-Mexico short-term gas market dynamics and non-technical risk assessment.

Ricardo's insights are regularly sought by leading industry publications, including Natural Gas Intelligence, Bloomberg, BNAmericas, ABC News, and The Dialogue. He previously held senior analytical and directorial roles at Genscape (now part of Wood Mackenzie) and IHS Markit (now merged with S&P Global), where he contributed to expanding contract value and implementing innovative power SCED and congestion models.
