Rosanele Romero
Senior Research Analyst, Subsurface
Rosanele joined Wood Mackenzie in July 2025, focusing on hydrocarbon resources and low-carbon technologies research in the APAC region while contributing to LENS Subsurface product development.
She brings over 20 years of international upstream energy experience, including 15 years at Shell and six years at S&P Global Commodity Insights as a basin editor. Her expertise spans frontier exploration across EMEA, Latin America & the Caribbean, Indian Sub-Continent, and CIS, plus greenfield development projects in Southeast Asia.
A licensed geologist in the Philippines, Rosanele is a member of AAPG, EAGE, and GSP. She advocates for Girls in STEM, sustainable geoscience, and empowering women leaders.
