Timothy Shen

Timothy is an expert in the global photovoltaic (PV) industry, specializing in tracker and inverter supply chain analysis and cost modeling. With over 8 years of experience in renewable energy, Timothy brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at Wood Mackenzie.

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Timothy spent eight years as a research analyst and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) manager at Shanghai Chint Power Systems (CPS). In this role, he was instrumental in developing business strategies that propelled CPS's growth in the competitive renewable energy market. Notably, Timothy spearheaded the company's sustainability initiatives, authoring CPS's inaugural ESG report and establishing a framework for ongoing corporate responsibility efforts.

Timothy holds a BS in Biology from Temple University and AA in Residential and C&I Electricity from Strattford Institute.
