Yanqi Cao

Yanqi is an analyst at Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewables research group, focusing on APAC power markets. He’s involved in power dispatch modelling and long-term power market dynamics forecasting for Southeast Asia countries. He also produces reports and insights on various regional generation technologies.​

​Yanqi has four years of experience in solar power in APAC countries, including Vietnam, South Korea and Cambodia. Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Yanqi worked as an investment supervisor at Trina Solar, responsible for solar project development, valuation and acquisition. He was also involved in the EPC management of solar projects.​

Yanqi received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
