Zhifei Liu

Zhifei joined Wood Mackenzie in 2021 and has since established herself as a specialist in copper demand analysis across China and select Asian markets. Her work encompasses both short- and long-term demand forecasting, with a particular focus on monitoring fundamental trends, market indicators and emerging consumption patterns. Zhifei contributes to the Copper Markets service.

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Zhifei was previously a research analyst at China Merchants Futures Company, where she was responsible for copper market analysis.
