We believe the increased inspection times could have a big impact on both metallurgical and thermal coal markets. In the near term, the most significant impact will be on Australian metallurgical coal exports to China. However, impacts to the global seaborne thermal coal market will be felt throughout the year, particularly for Australian thermal coal.
