Your browser settings may have settlings that enable you to transmit a “Do not Track” signal to websites and online services you visit. We are in the process of reviewing functionality. Currently, if you visit wwww.woodmac.com and if we detect that you have enabled the Do Not Track setting, or Global Privacy Control in the EU/UK, we will automatically disable targeting cookies.
The sites includes social media functions, such as the Blog, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook widgets. These widgets enable you, should you choose to do so, to share content on your social channel. The widgets may collect information about which pages you visit on the sites and the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet. The widgets may also set a cookie to ensure the features are functioning properly.
Social media functions and widgets are hosted either by a third party or directly on the sites. Your interactions with the social media functions and widgets located on the sites are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them. If you use any of the social media functions or widgets on our sites, we strongly suggest you review the privacy policies of the companies that provide those functions and features.
If you are a LinkedIn member, we use LinkedIn’s Insights Tag which is small snippet of javascript code on our website which, when enabled via cookie acceptance, will enable us to collect data regarding your interactions with our website. This includes the URL/s, referrer, IP address, device and browser and timestamp. This data is stripped of direct identifiers after 7 days and deleted within 180 days.
We use this data to serve you with relevant marketing messages promoting our content, products and services based on your previous engagement with us.
We use LinkedIn Sales Navigator service from LinkedIn to identify, locate, and communicate with business contacts.

Our marketing emails contain pixel tags once opened. These enable us to track whether an email has been received, and count visitors that have opened an email. This occurs when a person clicks “Download images” as this signals an open in our email system. If an individual clicks a link in an email, our system also marks this as an open. We use this information to understand the impact of our campaigns, so we can tailor our content to be most relevant to our audience.
We also use third-party web analytic services on our Sites, such as Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a third party, web analytics software service provided by Google. StackAdapt is a programmatic advertising platform providing advertising services. Via StackAdapt’s services, and subject to your cookie preferences, we collect and use statistical information that does not identify you, in order to measure advertising campaign effectiveness i.e. how successful a campaign has been in driving awareness, engagement and traffic to our website.
