Report summary
On March 29th, 2016 the EIA released Form 923 containing detailed data for January 2016 which provided the first insight into 2016 coal contracts. If January deliveries are an indication of the whole of 2016, 546 Mst (19.6 bcfde) of coal will be delivered under contract while an additional 83 Mst (2.5 bcfde) will come from spot deliveries.
