Collinsville coal mine
Report summary
Collinsville is a thermal and metallurgical coal mine in the northern Bowen Basin and is part of the Newlands - Collinsville - Abbot Point Joint Venture (NCA). The mine has produced both thermal and metallurgical products for export and domestic markets however since 2014 the mine has produced predominantly thermal coal. It is the northernmost coal mine in Queensland, located 100 kilometres from the Abbot Point Coal Terminal and is owned and operated by Glencore. Mining operations occur in three mining leases ML 1009, ML 10333 and ML 10111.
