Between June and August 2019, Wood Mackenzie's research team hosted multiple metals and mining forums in Asia, Europe and North America. The metallurgical coal sector was a central focus in three of those forums in Brisbane, Annapolis, and Tokyo, with a focus on potential disruption to the relative stability of the market over the last nine to twelve months. The attached presentation covers some of the themes presented at those forums including our thoughts on the very recent rapid price falls.
