Given the risks surrounding carbon regulation, Wood Mackenzie continues to assume a carbon price is applied to power plant dispatch beginning in 2023.  While the final manifestation of potential new GHG rules remains unclear, in this sensitivity we examine the underlying fundamentals of North American power, gas, and coal markets absent the federal carbon pricing assumption included in our Base Case.
