Wahana Baratama Mining (WBM) is a surface mine producing thermal coal for export markets. The mine is 100% owned and operated by Bayan Resources, one of Indonesia's largest coal producers. The mine operates under a Generation III Coal Contract of Work which was granted on 20 November 1997. The concession area lies within the Tanah Bumbu and Tanah Laut regencies in South Kalimantan and is adjacent to Arutmin's Satui operation. WBM is 100% owned and operated by Bayan Resources, one of Indonesia's largest coal producers.
