APAC Energy Buzz: Australia’s upstream M&A market is hotting up
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
The upstream M&A market is still a pretty tough place. Oil price uncertainty, the economic fallout from Covid-19 and the gathering energy transition are making all deals harder to close. But Australia's energy bankers are being kept busy - three major divestments are already underway and more will follow. Combined, over US$27 billion of Australasian upstream assets could soon be on the market. And while finding the right buyer is difficult, it doesn't mean they aren't out there.
