APAC Energy Buzz: ‘Life also, world also’ – India extends lockdown
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
India’s Prime Minister has today extended the nationwide lockdown until 3 May. But this isn’t a blanket extension of the existing lockdown, with the policy evolving to include ‘graded relaxations’ to allow some economic activity to resume. This is a critical judgement call. Striking a balance between containing the spread of coronavirus and attempting to revive India’s economy will be extremely challenging. Multiple risks remain.
