The EU CBAM has triggered a global effect prompting countries to develop their own carbon pricing systems. Wood Mackenzie expects this momentum to grow with more countries exploring domestic carbon pricing with CBAM-like mechanisms. This insight assesses whether countries can navigate embedded emissions accounting and reporting requirements.
