On 23 March 2021, Ben Gallagher, Principal & Lead Analyst, Hydrogen & Emerging Technologies presented the keynote paper at GTM Focus: Green Hydrogen in the Next Five Years. The presentation outlined milestones we expect to see over the next five years as low-carbon hydrogen markets begin to scale. The event included a discussion of Wartsila’s groundbreaking Waste-to-Energy integrated plant fueled by hydrogen in Finland, and a panel discussion with key industry players at Nel Hydrogen, EdP, Engie and Bloom Energy. Ben’s presentation is being made available for our clients today. In it, we preview an update to our proprietary Green Hydrogen project pipeline tracker: total pipeline capacity doubled since late December to 54 GW of electrolyzers as of 15 March 2021. The updated tracker showcasing project-level data as well as further demand market updates will be fully available to global Energy Transition Service clients in early April.
