Net-Zero Industry Act Part II: Mapping the EU’s 2030 CO2 storage target

EU Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA) came into force in June 2024. On the CCUS front, the Act contained a series of measures designed to foster a single market for CCUS within the EU. Most notably, the Act set out an ambitious target to develop a collective 50 Mtpa CO2 storage capacity across the EU.
