EU Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA) came into force in June 2024. On the CCUS front, the Act contained a series of measures designed to foster a single market for CCUS within the EU. Most notably, the Act set out an ambitious target to develop a collective 50 Mtpa CO2 storage capacity across the EU. Following the official list of obligated entities published in May 2025, this insight is Part II in the series, covering the official list of obligated entities and planned EU CO2 storage capacity.
