A year after record lows, winter's end sees close to record high storage inventories
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
European gas storage inventory stood at close to record highs at the end of March, as mild weather and plentiful supply availability combined to produce very weak daily hub prices. This in turn reduced the need for withdrawals from storage. Here we look at how the countries covering nearly three quarters of total regional capacity have been affected by these unusual circumstances and what this means for this year's summer fill.
