While much has been theorized about global gas markets in light of potential economic US LNG under-utilizations this summer, what happens to the US gas market? Can it absorb natural gas volumes that were intended for LNG export? In our latest insight, we run several scenarios in addition to our base case of 0.5 bcfd of US LNG under-utilizations. As it turns out, US gas storage can serve as a sink, but it comes at a price.
