China's environmental policies and their impact on gas demand
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
In Wood Mackenzie’s analysis, APPCAP policies are creating an additional 27 bcm of gas demand growth by 2017, increasing China’s appetite for LNG and, together with price reform, incentivising investment in domestic exploration and appraisal. However, through our analysis of the APPCAP/APPC targets, gas supply outlook and overall TPES trends in China, we ultimately forecast a less ambitious pace of gas demand growth in comparison to the NDRC.
