Report summary
On November 18th the NDRC announced that non-residential city-gate gas prices will be reduced by RMB0.7/m3 (US$3.10/mcf). Prices can still be negotiated, with a cap of 20% above regulated prices but with no floor. The announcement also gives a green light to the Shanghai Petroleum and Gas Exchange to take on a major role in gas trading.
