With Europe facing an energy crisis that could further exacerbate through a cold winter, we will be publishing a fortnight report to monitor daily market fundamentals, including gas and power demand, indigenous supply, pipe and LNG imports as well as storage levels. In this first mid-October report, we explore the following dynamics: • What impact are current record prices having on gas demand? • Is production recovery in the UK and Norway compensating for the supply shortfall in the Netherlands? • Has the withdrawals storage season already started? • Have Russian exports increased following Putin’s announcements?
