Europe Gas Highlights H2 2020
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Europe Gas Highlights outlines the key changes to our updated view of the European gas market, fully integrated with our global view. In this update, we have extended our forecast out to 2050 for the first time. Prices are approaching US$8/mmbtu for the first time since 2018, driven by cold weather and LNG supply disruptions, while a spike in demand across key Asian markets has pulled LNG away from the Atlantic. January's market dynamics point to a tighter summer in Europe, resulting in a stronger outlook for TTF in 2021 versus our previous view, averaging US$5.6/mmbtu.
