Report summary
Global gas demand is expected to continue to grow at an average rate of 2.0% for the forecast period to 2035, which is in line with the historical rate achieved over the period 1980-2007, prior to the global economic crises. Our forecast in this update is slightly lower than our H2 2014 view, with global demand now forecast to reach 4,376 bcm by 2025 and 5,070 bcm by 2035 (vs 4,411 bcm and 5,133 bcm in our H2 view).
