This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Qatar is currently the world's largest exporter of LNG. It produced 78.5 mmtpa (105 bcm/year) in 2013. Although the country exceeded its nominal production capacity by 1.5 mmtpa in 2013, production growth is expected to be marginal and driven by price opportunities until the end of this decade. A ban on new developments in North Field is forecast to remain in place for the foreseeable future.
