Global Gas Service - Highlights H2 2018: Will LNG supply overshoot again?
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
There is overwhelming optimism in the global LNG industry. True, Asian LNG prices have softened through the winter and players are coming to terms with the fact that 2019 and 2020 are going to be challenging years (perhaps unsurprisingly to our regular readers). But the gap between LNG demand and supply looks increasingly strong as Chinese LNG demand keeps growing. And LNG developers are gearing up to take FIDs on more than 100 mmtpa of new capacity over the next 24 months. But is there going to be enough demand for all this supply by 2025?
