Report summary
We have updated our North America pipeline project and regulatory tracker with more than 280 US and Canadian gas pipeline projects. Since our last update, nine newly proposed projects were announced, bringing .43 bcfd of new capacity in service during Q1 and another 3.6 bcfd of announced new capacity through 2025. Most of the announcements come from intrastate pipelines or are approved under blanket certification, a lower regulatory approval threshold reserved for smaller projects.
