After sinking to a low in May, US gas production is rebounding in June. The summer rally that briefly pushed prompt month prices to highs near $3.15/mmbtu is starting to unwind producer curtailments. Even higher winter gas futures are likely to incentivize further production growth. With the storage surplus still high and containment risks in both the US and Canada, Henry Hub gas prices have more downside than upside.
