North America gas weekly update: Big Hero 6
Report summary
Weekly gas storage injections continue to outpace both the five-year average and last year’s. Despite a potential colder weather pattern flip, US Lower 48 working gas storage is set to inject into early November and end injection season less than 0.1 Tcf lower than the five-year average. Under normal winter weather conditions, we expect to close out the withdrawal season at less than 1.4 Tcf, hardly enough to warrant panic this early.
