Commodity Market Report
North America gas weekly update: coronavirus demand loss?
Report summary
It’s going to be a big weekly storage injection and its only early April. Milder than normal weather and loss of LNG and Mexico export volumes are to blame for the much higher week-over-week injection, but something still seems to be missing. Higher industrial gas demand losses due to coronavirus related business closures and significantly reduced refinery and petrochemical run rates may be the missing variable in the equation.
