Commodity Market Report
North America gas weekly update: Fall back?
Report summary
Fall back. It does not just apply to daylight savings; this past week, it applied to gas prices as well. A higher than expected injection last week, along with more forecasted higher than average injections to come, are putting some pressure on prices. Fundamentals are mixed. LNG exports are seeing more maintenance and Mexican exports have not all been incremental, but at the same time, production remains checked beneath prior highs. Are we just stalling for time until winter HDDs come?
