North America gas weekly update: "Freedom gas" yet to free Henry Hub from low prices
Report summary
It sounds like a broken record, but yet another triple digit natural gas weekly storage injection is in store. The gas market is approaching record numbers of weeks of triple-digit storage injections, helped by mild weather and lower than expected LNG export feed gas volumes that are now being referred to as "freedom gas". In fact, the only thing keeping Henry Hub gas prices from falling even further is lacklustre US production growth.
