Amid outages at LNG export terminals such as Cameron and Sabine Pass, overall US LNG feedgas requirements have not increased significantly despite the full return of Freeport LNG. Nonetheless, the North American gas market is psychologically bullish as a big risk has been removed. Even so, with a very active Atlantic basin hurricane season, risks are likely to continue this summer. This weekly natural gas commodity report seeks to explore: • Will cooling degree days stay higher than normal? • When will Permian pipeline outages start to roll off? • How much will the storage surplus contract?
