The summer 2023 injection season has begun with the first weekly injection set to be reported for the week ending 7 April. A mild April will once again expand the storage surplus and pressure gas prices lower as weekly injections rapidly increase. Notable North American gas markets fundamentals this week include: • Record US LNG feedgas as Freeport LNG utilization remains strong and maintenance at Corpus Christi LNG ends • Ongoing impacts on Texas production from pipeline maintenance • Henry Hub gas prices continue to find support at $2/mmbtu and above
