Commodity Market Report
North America gas weekly update: Rapido
Report summary
Having reversed course, April injections are expected to continue declining. Why? Production is slightly lower week-over-week, and LNG exports are reaching records, but interestingly, Mexican exports are roaring. Weakening domestic dry gas production, record high Wahalajara downstream system flows, and stronger power burns and industrial demand are pushing exports higher than 7 bcfd at times. A new contender for North America gas demand has entered the race: Mexican exports.
