Commodity Market Report
North America gas weekly update: reversal
Report summary
This season’s injection run may differ somewhat from previous years’. Despite an early start, a reversal might be in order; that is, instead of ramping up, injections may actually toddle along at a lower rate. Why? First, weather is normalizing. Second, exports are booming, both LNG and Mexican. Lastly, production has weakened. All of this is leading to a tighter market—and less for storage injections.
