Report summary
Bearish sentiment continues to dominate North America gas markets, and it is not hard to see why. • US gas production is soaring once again • LNG feed gas demand is falling off due to maintenance • Weather is not providing much support as well as we start to wind down from peak summer cooling degree days • Power demand is doing what it can, aided by economic coal displacement with low gas prices, but the gas supply-demand imbalance continues to be fundamentally loose Something’s got to give.
