Late April cold is providing a lifeline to Henry Hub gas markets. Prices have so far avoided tumbling back below $2/mmbtu, but regional prices, such as in the Northeast, are near wellhead shut-in economics during periods of pipeline maintenance. Meanwhile, US gas production has rebounded post-maintenance and will require to be limited further by the next round of pipeline maintenance.
