Report summary
Spanish gas demand is showing the first signs of recovery since 2010.Stronger demand for power generation will increase Spanish gas demand by 12% in 2015. Demand recovery is expected to continue in the medium term as coal capacity is lost, peaking in 2023 at 41.5 bcm, slightly above pre-recession levels. While Spanish players will continue to re-export cargoes these opportunities are limited compared to 2014.
