Report summary
On 1 April 2017, the Sabine Pass LNG liquefaction plant loaded its 100th cargo, just over a year after its first export. LNG from the US has reached 18 different countries, out of a total of 36 importing countries. The diversity in destination exemplifies the flexibility that has attracted offtakers to US projects since Cheniere first pioneered the concept with Sabine Pass.
