Pacific Rubiales Energy and Exmar planned to build the world's first FLNG project near Tolu, Colombia, called Caribbean FLNG (also La Creciente FLNG). The small-scale liquefaction project consisted of a single 0.5 mmtpa train on a dedicated floating liquefaction, regasification and storage unit (FLRSU). Pacific Rubiales would have sourced gas from its own La Creciente area fields in the Lower Magdalena Valley Basin. The cluster area is one of Colombia's largest natural gas fields. ...
