Cheniere brings Corpus Christi LNG onstream ahead of schedule
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Cheniere's Corpus Christi LNG project started production on 14 November. It is the first greenfield LNG export development in the US L48 and marks the start of LNG exports from Texas. First LNG has been achieved ahead of schedule, cementing Cheniere's, as well as Bechtel's, leading reputation for LNG project execution. Cheniere's five trains at Sabine Pass have all been built in a similar three-and-a-half year timeframe. The achievement at Corpus Christi is all the more impressive for being greenfield and having to contend with Hurricane Harvey, which struck the Texas coast in August last year.
