Chevron has signed a key terms agreement with a subsidiary of JOVO, an emerging Chinese LNG buyer, for the delivery of up to 0.5 mmtpa of LNG for five years commencing in 2018. LNG will be supplied from Chevron’s LNG portfolio, which is sourced from its Australian LNG projects Gorgon, Wheatstone and North West Shelf.
