September TTF prices settled around $12.4/mmbtu, a sharp rise week on week, closing the discount to Northeast Asian DES to within 20 cents. Shelling near the Sudzha interconnection point, the sole remaining gas connection between Russia and Ukraine, raised concerns over supply disruptions. The week-on-week balance is slightly looser, with Gassco flows running high at 345 mcmd despite Danish unplanned maintenance at Nybro. This maintenance has led to a 50% reduction in Norwegian gas flowing from Denmark to Poland, with withdrawals from Danish underground storage expected to last until 12 August. Storage remains at the top of the range, while LNG sendouts have dipped to 238 mcmd.
